Fat loss is simple. Just not not easy.

A sustained calorie deficit, while not the ONLY thing, is definitely number one.

But for many just achieving a sustained deficit is the definition of easier said than done.

It’s because so many real-world obstacles come up.

From the internal like low energy, cravings, hunger, and poor sleep; to the external like travel, family, work requirements, social pressure and social media pressure, and always having to be prepared.

There’s a glimmer of good news. The ways you can achieve the precious calorie deficit are surprisingly flexible.

Calories don’t have to be the same every day and you can even work off a 7-day average.

A weekly average also applies to daily step count, a simple indicator of how much you move but a BIG contributor to the number of calories you burn.

You don’t even have to get those steps all at once. Got 10 mins to spare a couple times a day? Go for a walk. It all adds up.

These may sound like minutiae but the flexibility they afford is anything but.

Because flexibility makes things more manageable and less overwhelming, and that means less stress.

And the body (and mind) with lower stress ALWAYS gets better, more sustainable fat loss results, and has a lot more fun.
